Baybayin plugin for Multiling O Keyboard. This plugin is designed to be used with Multiling O Keyboard. Please ensure you have installed OKeyboard to utilize this plugin effectively.

Instructions:
(1) Install this plugin and Multiling O Keyboard.
(2) Open O Keyboard and follow its setup instructions.
(3) Use the space bar to switch between languages.

Baybayin (Tagalog pronunciation: [baeˈbaejɪn]; pre-kudlit: ᜊᜊᜌᜒ, post-kudlit: ᜊᜌ᜔ᜊᜌᜒᜈ᜔), also known as Tagalog script in Unicode, is an ancient pre-colonial Philippine writing system. Belonging to the Brahmic family of scripts from India, it was used in the 16th century, even during Spanish colonization until the late 19th century, and meticulously documented by Catholic clergy.

The term baybay translates to "to spell" in Tagalog. It has been mistakenly referred to as Alibata, but this naming is inaccurate as it was based on an arrangement of Arabic letters - alif, ba, ta - and later popularized by Paul Rodríguez Verzosa.

Other Brahmic scripts found among various ethnic groups in the Philippines include Buhid, Hanunó’o, Kulitan, and Tagbanwa.
